Collaboration Project.

I was the lucky artist to put the finishing touches on the collaboration project Erik Christenson started many months ago.  Over a dozen artists applied their creative talents to create this whimsical scene.  Can you tell what I illustrated?  I had a fun time adding three jumping city rabbits, a lions face to a flower and a blue pooch handing his beagle friend a treat.  

   

The Raw Deal Art Opening

Erik Christenson and Anna Kaiser are a Wisconsin couple who happen to be Illustrators. Since meeting each other seven years ago at art school, they've been creating and art making together ever since. Erik's artistic love is for monsters, people and stylized cityscapes, while nature, birds and colorful creatures steal Anna's heart. They share an art studio in Menomonie where they work tirelessly (sometimes tiredly) on freelance projects. This show features some of their illustration work. 

**Exhibit will be on display the entire month of May at Menomonie's The Raw Deal.

Calling all Bird Lovers!

Come to the Menomonie Public Library to see a bright display of artist Anna Kaiser's carved Midwest songbirds. Set in an environment of natural materials found in the Chippewa Valley, the artist display captures the spirit of Western Wisconsin's bird life.
